Celestial Incognito- Character Wardrobe Styling

''When the cosmos weep, can love bring life back to Earth?
CELESTIAL INCOGNITO
This Character Styling Project was done for a hypothetical movie that is existential in nature. The protagonists Aditya- The Sun and Chandni- The Moon, embark upon a time-traveling journey to find out what becomes of the love they've brought to life, their beloved earth.  "Indian Take on Retro Futurism," is about merging the beauty of traditional Indian fashion with the sleek and imaginative designs anticipated of the future. Imagine sarees and lehengas with a futuristic twist - intricate designs but with a sprinkle of metallic fabrics and modern accessories. It's like blending the past and the future in a style that's uniquely captivating, honoring India's rich cultural heritage while embracing the promise of what's to come.
MOVIE PLOT
The Sun and the Moon, two ancient cosmic entities in love with the Earth long before humanity ever existed, decide to experience life as 21st-century humans in India by taking the forms of Aditya and Chandni as they’re curious about the destiny of their beloved creation several decades later.

They arrive several light-years into the future, only to witness that the Earth which was once overjoyed in abundance, magic, and mystique- a place of primitive solace, is now lifeless, unforgiving, and a vast landscape of brutal nothingness. Aditya and Chandni are overwhelmed with a tense grim on their faces as they witness the devastating downfall of their lovechild, the Earth.
Absolutely perplexed to witness their lovechild and its fate.
Perceiving the shift in time as they traveled light-years into the future.

She looked the destined fate of her dear child in the eye, fleeting away into the realm of despair and devastation, slowly and steadily slipping off her grips as she stood there, helpless and mum.
Isolated in the rumble of this unforgiving, vastitude realm.
Navigating the strangeness of this new reality, hand in hand.
CHANDNI'S LOOK
Chandni - the humanoid version of Moon in India, is seen wearing a retro-futuristic attire constructed out of pleats and drapes that move along her body right from the top, and up to the bottom, creating a balloon-like futuristic silhouette at the bottom, keeping in touch with Indian roots. The metallic flat blouse with a one-sided pleated sleeve, is accessorized with a silver chain. Chandni wears two handcuffs and a Mang-tika, a brooch as accessories. As she’s married to Aditya, she’s seen donning Aalta on her hands with a metallic, futuristic touch to it.  Space buns with braids in the middle that go down her shoulders, complete this celestial heaven of a look!
ADITYA'S LOOK
Aditya the Sun in human form, is seen donning a majestically ancient-looking spread of Saree that's draped along the pants and the torso as a neck accessory. The black vest is cinched at his waist by a black corset. Aditya has Golden elements and accessorizing all over his attire, like gold-dipped hands, Golden chains, gold-dripping ears, earrings, hand-cuffs, and chains. This is the Sun God's perception of his human embodiment's fashion.
In awe of the place that this Earth has become.
